Japan Sucks

You may have heard about the Japanese ISP’s Plan to ban people who use file sharing networks from their internet.

Well I have two words. YOU SUCK!

File Sharing is a great and inevitable way to share the music, videos, photos and other stuff you like with other people. Record labels and movies shouldn’t be trying to can this up and throw it away. They should be trying to find a way to monetize it and profit from it.

All of this impending limit of freedom will do is force Japanese filesharers to find ways around exposing their ip addresses and begin severly limiting what several millions of people do online. Also the ISP’s do not have to prove guilt. Which means if you erroneously download a virus that uses your pc to download files and offer them as a sort of ’seeder’ then you can lose your internet access.

Also a group of companies making a decision like they did is called an ‘oligopoly‘ and they are illegal here in the USA so don’t get any ideas Time Warner Cable, Comcast, Verizon, AT&T, Qwest, and AOL.
