AT&T Cuts Digital Phone

April 22nd, 2009 | by supperman |

Dallas-based AT&T is shutting down it’s CallVantage service. Much like other digital home phone providers, including competitors Time Warner Cable and Vonage, AT&T’s CallVantage service allowed users to make calls over a broadband connection using a specially designed adapter.

This must be great news for those still in the landline phone business which has more and more begun focusing on VOIP communications and less on traditional phone lines.
