Unmarked Cop Carjacks Motorcyclist
April 10th, 2010 | by supperman |Cop pulls gun - Audio
Full Length - No Audio
In Maryland a motorcyclist speeding along the highway suddenly has a plain clothes police officer pull him over and pull a pistol on him. The police officer pulls out his pistol and demands the driver get off the motorcycle before looking at the helmet mounted camera and saying “state police” and re-holstering his weapon. The motorcyclist admitted to speeding and his looking at 5 years prison time for unlawfully recording audio of the incident.
I don’t know about you but I get annoyed enough when a marked police officer pulls me over. This is not exactly a great way to promote tourism and jobs in your state Maryland. Other bloggers and news sites have noted that if the driver of the motorcycle had been concealed-carry holder he could have fired on the officer thinking he was being car jacked… or motorcycle jacked in this case.

i took the time to look over this and found some interesting details.
1. At 1:06 in the long video a state patrol car is in the turn around lane, most likely where the motorcyclist was clocked.
2. The unmarked officer pulls out his gun and approaches the motorist and waits several seconds before mentioning he is with the police.
3. At 8 seconds in on the first video (with audio) the unmarked officer looks behind the motorcycle, later we see a patrol car but no lights or sirens are ever seen or heard.
ticket for speeding? sure, but gun pulled by unknown person in an unmarked car?
